Social
To connect in new ways with caregivers for our Kaleidoscope Play & Learn program, I decided to explore TikTok. Taking inspiration from Dr. Becky Kennedy, I share our caregiver tips and information on child development in brief one-minute videos, and then link to these videos within our weekly enewsletter.
This enables caregivers to access the information in three ways: In person at our group, written in the enewsletter, and by watching the videos. By taking this multi-faceted approach, I hope to make the information as accessible as possible.
Social Media Strategy
As Communications Coordinator for an early education nonprofit, I created a social media guide to provide consistent messaging across platforms as well as support marketing goals for each department.
Goals included positioning our organization as an expert in the field of multicultural early childhood education, connecting families with resources, providing thought leadership, and recognizing community partnerships, funders, and organizations that shared our mission.

Educator Wellness
Part of a weekly wellness campaign within our nonprofit to support our early childhood educators as they cared for children of essential workers during the first two years of the pandemic.
Brand
Our 2022 Dinner & Auction was in person for the first time in two years, and we wanted a light and hopeful feel to our messaging.
Working with Canva, I chose the bright blue graphic to demonstrate a shift from the previous year’s dark gray branding as well as our general agency’s green, but retained our signature fonts to provide consistency and familiarity.

From multilingual flyers for nonprofit and school enrollment campaigns to academic textbooks on research methods and emergency medicine, I have created and edited a wide variety of print materials.
